The Daily Fresh Story

Caruso’s Sandwiches and Artisan Pizza is a locally owned fresh-casual restaurant chain located in the Inland Northwest. We started in 1993 with a belief in providing fresh, honest, high-quality foods that are responsibly sourced and beneficial to our communities. We began by seeking out family businesses like ours to source from – businesses that know their name means something, where quality and a good reputation are worth more than all the world’s marketing dollars combined.

Sustainable Quality

Knowing house made dough would be our foundation, we selected locally sourced Shepherd’s Grain flour whose family farms hold standards as high as ours and care about sustainability, growing non-GMO wheat while regenerating the soil we receive our nourishment from. The unique flavor of this quality flour was noticeable and became the key to our breads. We decided to seek the same level of commitment to quality from all our food partners, engaging with those that pride themselves on using the highest quality ingredients. Every day our Artisan approach is delivered by team members who bake, cut, slice, dice, mix and prepare food before the sun rises, delivering our daily fresh flavors and quality you can taste in every bite.

Stewardship of Responsibility

At Caruso’s, we do our part to minimize waste and its negative impact on our environment. Sustainability and stewardship are daily practices we believe in. To minimize our impact, we repurpose boxes and use sustainably sourced, biodegradable plates, napkins, to-go boxes, and containers made from recycled materials.

Community Outreach

We are truly locals! Living in the communities where our restaurants are located, our customers are our friends and neighbors– they teach our kids, and make repairs; we attend big events with them, buy groceries from their stores, and fuel up in all the same places. We care deeply about making our communities a better place by partnering with local community organizations, hosting fundraisers and giving back.  We are your community restaurant, and we are thankful to serve you!

Believe

Come see us today and discover the reason we are so passionate about our brand,  our food, our team, and our customers.  We are Caruso’s–inspired by you, made “Daily Fresh” for you, and motivated by a love for great food!
